TV Times For Rallye Sanremo
Eurosport has confirmed TV times for Rallye Sanremo, round nine of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, which starts later today.
Armchair fans can watch 30 minutes of highlights from each day - with leg one screened at 11pm tonight (Friday) and leg two screened at 11pm tomorrow.
A 30-minute Rally Review is aired at 11pm on Sunday.
Guy and co-driver Phil Pugh are feeling confident ahead of the classic tarmac rally, held on narrow mountains roads above the Italian Riviera.
Guy, driving a Peugeot UK 207 Super 2000, told ircseries.com: “The car feels very good. We’re in a good place right now and hopefully we can transform that into a good result.
“This will be our fourth start in Sanremo. It’s very challenging, very technical with no respite for the driver or co-driver.
“You have to be inch perfect and you can’t let the car slide in a lot of places because it’s so narrow. You need big commitment.”
Guy is also licking his lips at the prospect of the legendary 44km Ronde night stage, which starts at 10.33pm.
He said: “It’s always exciting to rally at night and it’s a stage that will break the back of the rally.
“You have to be in touch going into the stage but anything can happen. Once you’re through it though you can look forward to the rest of the rally.”
